Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth:— John 16:13a

The anointing which you have received will teach you all things.  The “all things” to be taught to you is all truth.  The anointing that is in you is truth, the Word is truth, and the Holy Spirit is called by Jesus “the Spirit of Truth.”  Why does God want to teach you the whole truth and nothing but the truth?  Because the more truth you know, the more free you become from the works of darkness.  The Teacher will slowly remove all error out of your thought-life, anything that does not line up with the Word of God.  As you continue in the Word, you will become a disciple (someone who is disciplined to the Word) and you will know the truth and the truth will make you free!  Allow the Spirit of God to show you any error that is in your thought-life, repent, and turn to the truth!  “Holy Spirit, show me and teach me today!”

If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. — John 15:7

The anointing you have within you is to teach you all things.  It is to guide you into all truth.  What is the result of being taught by the anointing?  “You will abide in Him.”  The truth will bring you into a oneness, make you like-minded, with God, so you can abide in Him and He in you.  A daily presence of God will come into your life, along with a daily awareness of that Presence.  You will be continually connected to His thoughts, His plans, His will, and His purpose.  You shall abide in Him when you abide in the Truth!

...Paul, having passed through the upper coasts, came to Ephesus: and finding certain disciples, he said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? — Acts 19:1b-2a

I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear; he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire. —Matt 3:11

God is in the business of anointing His people. He desires to give them the edge over the curse and natural circumstances.  He anoints (literally "rubs and smears" them all over) with the Holy Ghost and power.  This is not brain power, it is not natural physical power, but it is "dunamis" power, which is God's very ability.  You have been rubbed and smeared all over with God's power, God's might, God's ability, and God's miracle--Christ ("The Anointed One") in you.  Whether you feel anointed or not does not indicate whether you have power.  You have been anointed by God--you have the Holy Ghost and power according to the Truth, His Word.  His ability is yours today! 

How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him. — Acts 10:38

After Jesus was anointed, he "went about doing."  The anointing which you have received is for taking action.  This anointing is to be put into action for other people's benefit.  People all over the world are sick, poor, depressed, harassed by demon spirits, and you have the answer, the cure, the solution; you have the anointing.  Why have God's ability and never use it?  Why have God's might and power and never release it?  Put some faith in "the Holy Ghost and power" in your life!  You are anointed today to go about doing good!  Do not take for granted or ignore the awesome power that God has given you.  There is plenty of "good-doing" that needs to be done--and you have been empowered and sent to do it.
