The Anointing: The Empowerment
Friday, February 9, 2024
For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
...and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.
— I John 3:8b; Isaiah 10:27b
There is a devil on the loose! He is on a mission to oppress mankind with sickness, disease, fear, worry, lack, and bondage. He desires to oppress and harass every one of God's creations, to steal, kill, and destroy. But his days of holding the human race under bondage are on the decline. God has sent the anointing to destroy all the devil's yokes. The anointing upon you today is bigger than AIDS, more powerful than cancer, greater than oppression! Sickness and disease is of the devil; it is enforced by spirits of infirmity, by supernatural beings in the earth. But the anointing has been sent so the Church could go about healing all who are under the devil's oppression. "They shall lay hands on the sick and they will recover"--who are those who lay hands? The person rubbed and smeared with God's ability! So stop sitting and waiting--GO!
The Anointing: God with You

The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,
— Luke 4:18
Jesus did some awesome things when He walked on the earth. Blind eyes were opened, deaf ears were unstopped, people were raised from the dead, and demons were cast out. Jesus was always on top, always in victory. In the midst of a storm, He was in total control. He impressed people so much that even a Pharisee named Nicodemus came to ask how He did such mighty miracles. What made the difference? What impressed people so much? "God was with him." Jesus lived a life in the presence of God because He was rubbed, smeared, and anointed with God Himself. You may say, "Well, I am anointed, too, but I'm not seeing the same results! Why?" Jesus was not only anointed, He also believed in the anointing that He had been given. He claimed "the Spirit of the Lord is upon me, and He has anointed me!" Stop talking about your problems. Stop talking about your human weaknesses, and start believing in the anointing that is upon you! God is with you to heal all who are oppressed.
The Promise: We Need Him
Wednesday, February 7, 2024
And [Jesus], being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which, saith he, ye have heard of me.
— Acts 1:4
The disciples had just been through the best Bible School training you could have. They walked and talked and lived with Jesus for three years. They heard every sermon He preached, they saw every miracle He performed. If anybody was ever qualified to go and make an impact on the world, it was them! Yet Jesus said not to go, not to leave Jerusalem, without the promise of the Father. If they needed the promise to go, to be effective, we still need the promise today. Do not go-–to work–-to the store-–to the event–-anywhere-–without the promise of the Holy Ghost.
The Promise: Here and Now
Monday, February 5, 2024
But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel; And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh:
— Acts 2:16, 17
The disciples were commanded to tarry until the Father sent the promise. Today there is no reason to tarry, because on Pentecost day the promise of the Holy Ghost was poured out on all flesh. He is available to every child of God and to the people of the world if they will receive Him. Child of God, tarry no longer, because He now lives in you and abides with you forever! You just need to be aware of the promise you have received and expect His workings in your life. Stop waiting, and go with the promise of the Father!
The Promise: The Anointing
Friday, February 2, 2024
For we are labourers together with God: ye are God’s husbandry, ye are God’s building.
— 1 Corinthians 3:9
The Father gave mankind a promise. He promised the day would come when the anointing would be made available to man, and this anointing would break yokes and destroy burdens. This promise could only be fulfilled after Jesus suffered, died, and rose, so that the new birth and the new creation could accommodate it. Not only would the Christ come to live in man, but the Spirit would be sent upon man. The Spirit was not sent alongside of man to work for him and apart from him, but upon him to work with him and co-labor with him. God arrives on the scene--in Him you arrive on the scene. You are the vehicle of God. He lays hands when you lay hands, He speaks His Word of power when you speak His Word of power. The Spirit of the Lord is upon you!
